The Fulbright application (and its numerous supporting materials) has been FedExed, and it’s too late to back out now! Thanks to assistance from several extraordinarily helpful people, I think I have a good proposal. Now the waiting begins – they don’t send out a letter until January 31st to say if you’ve made it past the 1st round. My nails are in shreds already.

Khadija Teri had this on her blog, and since I’m kind of distracted at the moment, I’m using it for today’s post.

I am thinking about… carving a pumpkin.
I said… more than I should have, so I’m learning to just listen!
I want.. to be more organized.
I wish… that our families weren’t on two different continents.
I miss… my next-door neighbor in Rabat, Fatna.
I hear… Hamou taking a shower, classical music on TV, and Dhuhr from my Athan program.
I wonder… if I’ll ever have kids.
I regret… not studying languages more when I was younger.
I dance… whenever I hear Vince Guaraldi.
I cry… when I see any animal suffering.
I am not always… patient.
I write… little notes to my dad with funny clippings from the newspaper.
I need… a copy of Rosetta Stone Arabic.
I finish… projects better when I have a deadline – I like the pressure.
