If you must have music play when someone visits your site, have a button readily available that allows the user to stop it if they like.

I remember I read that web sites has to pay fee to some company to make objects (like flash and Active-X) play on load, that day I said to myself “ah! this is only patent could be useful” but in real life, nothing changed
