Today I’m feeling a curious sensation in my lungs – which is very similar to what I felt last year in Rabat, at exactly this time, before I developed bronchitis. Here’s hoping it’s just the weather, or allergies, or anything but bronchitis. And I swear, I’m not a hypochondriac – people usually have to force me to go to the doctor.
I’m posting this song because it conveys the mood around here, and also because it made me think of Adel – though I’m sure he’s found someone new already, the sly dog.

Maryam – Glad you like it, it’s very popular on our local “alternative” station.
Cat – I didn’t take anything for mine, though they tried to force antibiotics on me – “I said it’s viral. VIRAL!” It went away entirely in about two months, but I went South, which had a positive effect.

I actually tried snails once – the broth they cook them in smells great, but I just couldn’t get past the little antennae, and they tasted like flavored rubber bands.
