I’ve activated a plugin that allows commenters to subscribe to the post they just commented on - it will send you email notifications when someone makes a new comment.
I did this because I hate going back to other people’s blogs to see if there are any comments after or in response to mine - it makes me look like a stalker in their stats programs!

I only realized recently that others would realize that I stalk their blogs. I’m such an amateur.

I think that’s great. I just have stopped leaving responses to people on my blog b/c I just think it is hard for people to find. So I only comment if I feel the comment or query has relevance to more than one person. Otherwise I email.

Good idea! Should cut down on some of my hits to your site… That won’t make you feel any less loved, though, will it? BTW, I found a henna artist here in town and am going to have a henna party….and have some Arabic food catered and maybe I can find 15 or 20 people to wear my keftans, taksheetas and khemises around! Want to come? You can be our special guest.

I am starting to use a service called cocomment, that tracks all comments you make on any blog you visit. You can see them all on one web page, which should be ultra useful if it works.

I wonder if that can work with blogger too. I am forced to save the urls where I have commented before to check them regularly. I hate to look like just sneaking in to leave a comment and never show up again. A stalker is fine..It wouldn’t bother me to find out that someone has been watching my blog, and I hope that it doesn’t bother others to find out that I have been watching theirs ^^ .It just makes you always find out about other stuff other than the commens you came to check for.
