Another little tidbit about me…my father (retired) was an oil and gas geologist, and I’ve sort of inherited his interest. I’ve written to several geologists about rock formations around the Todra Gorge, and now I’ve found this:
I’m guessing it’s only Dad and me that would get excited over mentions of Ordovician Glaciation, but hey, you’re all welcome to come over for our viewing party anyway.

That was actually pretty interesting – i went to the website and read the entire summary. Who knew? Compared to the evolution of the earth, our little lives seem like a blip.
