New Dishes, hm….

15 Nov

I’ve been looking for a new set of dinnerware – not wanting to spend a lot, since I probably won’t ship it to Morocco, and something almost non-destructible for everyday use.

What do you all think of these:

Blue and White

Blue and White Moroccan Inspired Outdoor Dinnerware
Melamine outdoor dining dinnerware has come a long way since it was first introduced in the 1930’s. It’s just as durable as ever – it won’t chip, crack or break and it’s dishwasher safe, but now it’s available in many different beautiful colors and patterns like this blue and white Moroccan inspired set. Sold as a set of four place settings. Each setting includes a 12’’, 10’’ and 8’’ plate and a 6’’ bowl. 16 total pieces.

Theroux (on pillow), the largest scaled of all the Literary Collection, resembles Neruda (background), but this time the geometrics are multi-colored.

Architectural Conference in Morocco!

10 Nov

I didn’t hear about this conference until today – darn! I’d probably sell my liver if I could somehow be magically transported to it.

It would be so fascinating to see how old ways of designing (basically, everything’s in the “ma’alem’s” head!) are being integrated with new technology.
